Power of a testimony!

We need to hear more testimonies of God's goodness, patience, love, kindness, generosity...the list could go on! So my challenge to us all is this. Let's start sharing all the good things that God has done and shown us because it will be through this that will encourage us and strengthen our faith.

Here's one to boost your faith.

My friend has been trying to have a baby for over 12 years and guess what...she is now pregnant!!! I am sooooo excited!!! This is a miracle and I believe more and more are going to happen.

Hebrews 2:3-5 'how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.'

It's Been A Long Time!

I know it's been quite a while since I wrote on my blog however I'm back!!!

Here's what I read today and thought I would share it with you:

Happiness keeps you sweet. Trials keep you strong. Sorrows keep you human. Failures keep you humble. Success keeps you glowing. But only God keeps you going!

OK so I guess that most of you know by now. It was quite amusing to me some of your responses. Cher you definitely have to get a prize just for describing me so well - shame that the date was not quite right.

Anyways I booked my flight this past weekend and if all goes smoothly I will arrive in Grand Rapids on January 14th. Congratulations to Rose for guessing correctly but then you did change your mind so I'm not quite sure if you should get that prize or not???!! :)

Really looking forward to seeing all of you. I am so excited that I can't even put it into words. I'm actually speechless!!!

A COMPETITION!!!

OK so this is really for the youth girls in Grand Rapids. Some of you seem to really want to know when I will be coming back but...I don't want to tell you. So I decided that we should make a competition out of it and this is how it will go.

You have to guess on which day I will be planning on flying into Grand Rapids. You only get ONE chance so think carefully. Some of you may have more of an idea than others but it's up to you to figure it out. I may decide to give you some clues but then again I may not. I don't want to make it too easy for you now. The competition will end on December 12th.

The winner then will get a prize...probably some delicious English chocolate when I do arrive back in (clue number 1) January.

EXCITING NEWS!!!

I have a couple of exciting points to tell you all!

1. This is the most exciting of all. A young guy gave his life to God over the weekend and another girl recommitted her life to God too. How exciting is that!!! God's kindgom is advancing! It reminds us that 'one day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord'.

And what's more is that I know this is only a glimpse of what is going to happen. God's people are grasping hold of his vision for the earth and we will see every nation bow the knee to Him. More exciting things are going to happen and I personally feel honored and privileged to be a part of it. Are you?
